Thank You for Being Part of the Big Assembly Apprenticeship Livestream

After nearly a decade of national impact, the Big Assembly apprenticeship livestream has come to an end.
Produced by Workpays, the Big Assembly grew to become the UK’s largest apprenticeship livestream, reaching hundreds of thousands of students, teachers, parents, and employers each year. What began as a bold idea evolved into a flagship moment of National Apprenticeship Week, showcasing real apprenticeship journeys, employer insight, and practical career guidance at scale.
Delivered in close partnership with the Department for Education through the Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge (ASK) programme, the Big Assembly played a vital role in helping young people understand apprenticeships as a first-choice career pathway.
While we explored alternative funding routes, including sponsorship and partnerships, this was not sufficient to sustain the livestream beyond 2025. With the ASK programme coming to an end and no replacement funding available, we have made the difficult decision to pause the Big Assembly for the time being.
We are incredibly proud of the legacy it leaves behind and grateful to every school, partner, employer, and learner who supported the journey.
At Workpays, we remain committed to supporting employers and individuals through high-quality apprenticeships, training, and employability programmes across the UK.
