You must be aged 19–29, living in the Black Country or Coventry area, claiming Universal Credit, and not in full-time employment or education.
Overview
This is a meaningful opportunity for a qualified nurse to bring their clinical expertise into a care home setting and make a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable residents. As an Apprentice Registered Nurse at Restful Homes Group, you will be responsible for the delivery of nursing care and for supervising others involved in the caring process.
You will work alongside a dedicated care team to maintain high standards of care, contribute to effective home management, and ensure that every resident receives safe, compassionate and person-centred support.
Duties
Assist with the assessment of nursing care needs for residents
Plan, deliver and evaluate individual care and treatment plans in consultation with residents, their relatives and the care team
Conduct risk assessments with due regard to the safety of residents, visitors and staff
Supervise care staff in the delivery of high standards of care and treatment to achieve planned goals
Participate in care staff supervisions and reviews, and assist with the induction and orientation of new care staff
Act at all times in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and maintain all registration requirements
Maintain the safe custody, administration, dispensing and storage of medication in accordance with NMC guidelines
Participate in clinical, quality and continuous improvement processes
Ensure professional integrity and accountability, working within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and all relevant service-specific codes of practice
Act as person in charge and stand in for the Home Manager when required, ensuring high standards of care are maintained in line with company policy and registration requirements
