You must be aged 19–29, living in the Black Country or Coventry area, claiming Universal Credit, and not in full-time employment or education.
Overview
This is a great opportunity to join a supportive care home team and develop your skills in a role that directly contributes to the comfort and wellbeing of residents. As an Apprentice Housekeeping Assistant at Restful Homes Group, you will help to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across the home, playing an essential part in the overall quality of care and hotel services delivered to residents.
You will work as part of a dedicated housekeeping team, building practical skills and knowledge that can support a long-term career in facilities, hospitality or care home management.
Duties
Help to maintain a homely, clean and pleasant environment for residents and colleagues throughout the home
Plan and carry out a comprehensive cleaning schedule to ensure all areas, furnishings and equipment are clean and well-presented at all times
Assist with the induction and orientation of new housekeeping team members
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used, maintained and stored safely
Report any defects, faults or maintenance requirements relating to cleaning equipment or furnishings
Use and store cleaning products in full accordance with COSHH regulations
Carry out stock takes and assist with ordering cleaning consumables
Ensure all equipment and machinery are kept in good working order and report faults immediately
Salary:
National Living Wage, dependent on age
