You must be aged 19–29, living in the Black Country or Coventry area, claiming Universal Credit, and not in full-time employment or education.

As an Apprentice Care Assistant at Restful Homes Group, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care that supports residents' physical, emotional, cultural and social needs.
Working as part of a compassionate and dedicated care team, you will help residents to live as independently and comfortably as possible, while developing the skills and knowledge needed for a long-term career in health and social care.
Duties
Provide support and encouragement to residents across all areas of daily living, including personal care and mobility
Uphold and promote the dignity, privacy, rights and independence of every resident at all times
Contribute to the assessment of residents' needs and the development of individualised care and support plans, in consultation with residents, their relatives and the care team
Act as a key worker for an identified resident or designated group
Work with the care and support team to deliver high standards of service and achieve planned care goals
Prepare food and drink for residents, taking into account individual preferences, nutritional needs and cultural requirements
Use moving and handling equipment safely and in accordance with training
Maintain clear and accurate records in respect of care delivered
Build and maintain good communication and effective working relationships with residents, families and colleagues
Attend and participate in regular team meetings and training sessions as required
Dress appropriately and maintain professional standards at all times
Salary:
National Living Wage, dependent on age
