Skills That Make a Difference
Workpays has partnered with Leicester City Council to deliver the Skills Bootcamp in Green Skills — a fully funded programme helping qualified electricians gain the skills and certifications needed to install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and electric vehicle (EV) charge points.
Delivered over four weeks at our Workpays Leicester Centre, this course blends practical, hands-on learning with flexible online study, opening doors to new contracts, career opportunities, and business growth.

Part of the Government’s Skills for Life initiative — meaning training is fully funded for unemployed individuals and up to 90% funded for SMEs.

Funding & Eligibility
Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build sector-specific skills and receive an interview with an employer upon completion.
To be eligible, you must:
✔️ Be 19 or over (on or before 31 August 2025)
✔️ Have the right to work in the UK and meet residency requirements
✔️ Live or work in Leicester or Leicestershire
✔️ Already hold a Level 3 electrical qualification
