You must be aged 19–29, living in the Black Country or Coventry area, claiming Universal Credit, and not in full-time employment or education.
Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your career journey with a leading regional employer who will provide a supportive environment to help you flourish and develop the skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career path.
Your journey begins with a 6-week work experience placement, followed by a further 6–8 week support programme designed to prepare you for an interview and selection day for your chosen apprenticeship. You will then receive ongoing support until you progress into an apprenticeship or sustained employment that aligns with your career aspirations.
Duties
Support operational activities across wastewater or water network teams
Follow processes and safety procedures
Work with colleagues and customers professionally
Use IT systems, including MS Office
Contribute to environmental and community-focused tasks
Salary:
National Living Wage, dependent on age
