Overview

Having the ability to continuously improve gives organisations a significant competitive advantage. It will improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction. Designed by leading automotive, engineering, utility and food production organisations, this apprenticeship will give individuals the knowledge and skills to identify improvements, create change programmes and lead their implementation. It will introduce them to Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, along with advanced project management principles.

During the apprenticeship, you will develop your stakeholder management and communication skills, your understanding of project and change management principles and your ability to acquire and analyse data.  You will also enhance your:

  • Problems solving and prioritisation skills

  • Process mapping and analysis

Professional Qualifications

While this apprenticeship does not lead to a professional qualification, apprentices will gain and apply valuable transferable skills that are essential for their career development.

Delivery Method

Online or face-to-face live tutor-led masterclasses, guided self-study, practical workplace tasks, and 1:1 mentoring support.

Career Progression

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will have the knowledge and experience to progress to more senior roles, including Improvement Practitioner, Business Improvement Manager or Quality Control Manager.
